HootBar is a simple and easy to use Firefox extension that allows you to post messages to Twitter directly from your address bar.
HootBar also provides a 'Hootlet' which gives you more customization options and allows you to post to all the social networks that HootSuite supports: Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Linkedin, and more.
HootBar was designed to allow you to send tweets with lightning speed. Simply type a message and append it with one of the HootBar commands to post directly to Twitter.
HootBar add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
